In season 1, episode 4 the love story of Greggory Smart, Pamela Smart and Billy Flynn is shown . This does not end well for Greggory or Pamela as Greggory turns up dead and Pamela is convicted of two counts of murder in the 2nd degree, tampering with a witness and sentenced to life. In total there were five people charged with this murder. Billy Flynn plead guilty to second degree murder and sentenced to life, which was later commuted to three years to 25 years and has been paroled. Similar deals were made with Patrick Randall and Vance Lattime who have likewise been paroled. Raymond Fowler has also been paroled. Billy Flynn got a raw deal in court. Even though he was fifteen years old, he took responsibility and testified against Pam, he still received a life sentence.
